9 Questions we asked him

  • What motivated you to get into business development, and was this always a career path you envisioned for yourself?

Honestly, it started with a love for bringing ideas to life and watching them grow. But, to be fair, I wasn’t exactly dreaming of this as a kid – I was more focused on whether I’d be the next David Beckham (still working on that)!

  • Looking back, what are some pivotal moments in your personal or professional life that shaped the way you approach business development today?

One key moment: realizing that my passion for football and sport is a lot like business development, it's all about strategy, teamwork, and sometimes taking a well-calculated dive. Also, knowing when to stop kicking and start talking!

  • How do you maintain a balance between the demands of a fast-paced business role and your personal life?

Balance? That’s a strong word. I like to think I juggle things well - meetings, deals, a bit of football on the weekends, and then somehow ending up in a club by the end of the night. It’s a balance if you squint!

  • What do you enjoy doing outside of work to recharge and stay motivated?

Football, without a doubt. There’s nothing like kicking a ball around to clear the mind and getting out and about. And then, of course, I might “accidentally” stumble into a club later to celebrate all my hard work on the pitch.

  • What is the most rewarding part of your job at Logixal, and how does it align with your personal values?

The best part? Watching a deal come together, like scoring the winning goal. It aligns with my personal values because both require persistence, teamwork, and occasionally yelling, "We’ve got this!" at the right time. And being surrounded with installing minds and positive minded people.

  • How do you stay grounded and focused when dealing with high-pressure situations in business development?

When the pressure’s on, it’s all about focus and striving as a team in the right direction, And if all else fails, I remind myself that the worst-case scenario isn’t so bad.

  • Is there a particular achievement, either personal or professional, that you’re most proud of?

One achievement I'm particularly proud of is learning how to keep my cool in high-stakes situations at work. You know, those moments where the pressure is high, the stakes are even higher, and yet, somehow, I manage to navigate it all without losing my mind or my sense of humor! It’s all about staying focused and finding creative solutions under stress, which has really shaped how I approach challenges both personally and professionally.

  • Who is your biggest inspiration?

Someone who balances football, a career, and a good night out...Cristiano Ronaldo, maybe? But without the strict diet. I like my weekends too much.

  • What is your favourite hobby to do on the weekends?

Well, it’s a toss-up between football and hitting the clubs. They pair well together, one tires me out, and the other, well, let’s just say it keeps the energy going.
