Logixal donates IT equipment to support Evergreen Playground in Hackney

We were delighted to meet Pat Macantsionnaigh and the team at Evergreen Playground in Hackney and support the amazing work they are doing for our local community by donating IT equipment.

Evergreen provides invaluable support to local families as it provides free, and supervised play for children aged 5-15 in their adventure playground in Hackney.

It’s a space where children can be outdoors and explore and develop their imagination.  It has purpose-built outdoor structures for adventurous and challenging play,  as well as a soft playroom, a creative room and sports hall with table tennis, pool table, table football and basketball hoop. All within an environment that is safe and inclusive.

The playground is well-loved in the area since it opened in 1971, with many of the parents that bring their children (and grandchildren!) today, have fond memories of visiting Evergreen Play themselves as a child. 

Pat commented ‘I would like to say a massive thanks to Daniel and the team. The donation of IT equipment has made my life so much easier and saves me so much time. Having IT on-site now means I can do all the admin etc from the playground office instead of from home. It'll enable me to carry out general admin and management of the playground as well as make funding applications and arrange corporate volunteering activities. Overall, it gives me more time to put my focus, time, attention and energy into the kids”
