Logixal appoints industry veteran Simon Cornwell as Group Sales Director

Logixal is delighted to officially announce the appointment of Simon Cornwell as Group Sales Director.

Simon brings with him remarkable industry experience, having founded, operated and headed up the sales division of an extraordinarily successful print and service business for 20 years.  

Commenting on his role, Simon said: “I’m delighted to have joined Logixal at such a pivotal time of investment and growth. I have returned to an industry that I love, where I had thirty incredible years of success and I bring this knowledge, passion, and vast experience to Logixal. To come back and work with one of my very own class of ‘96,  to see what Daniel and the team have achieved as well as their vision for the future― was just too exciting to turn down.”

As Group Sales Director I have complete autonomy to build the sales operation and support all the infrastructure and operations to complement our growth plans.

Why did you choose to work at Logixal?

To work with Daniel who I employed into the industry 25 years ago and help him replicate my previous business success.

What is the most inspiring part of your job? 

Changing people lives for the better.

What is the most exciting thing you are currently working on? 

Everything.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

 I am Chairman of Buckhurst Hill Football Club and I have a real passion for community and health, fitness and mental well-being for young adults. I have also had a season ticket for Chelsea for over forty years, so very happy at the moment. 

What skill(s) do you think everyone should learn? 

Communication and empathy.

What is the best advice you can give someone who just started their career?

Listen, take advice, out-of-hours learning and work with a good mentor.

Who or what inspires you? 

My family.

What is the strangest meal you have ever eaten?

Tough one. Enjoy all foods. But hate coleslaw.

Where would you most like to go and why?

 Australia. To experience all the different cultures in such a vast country
